At DMV Young Swimmers the goal is to capture a playful and whimsical spirit while maintaining a clean and professional atmosphere. I want to inspire the joy and enthusiasm of all swimmers to overcome their fear, empower them to push themselves to swim towards the future!

MY Story
- Founding of DMV Young Swimmers Swim School: In 2015, Heavenlee started teaching group swim lessons as a summer camp facilitator for DPR and with that experience in teaching group swim lessons she recognized the importance of making swimming accessible to everyone. She founded DMV Young Swimmers LLC in May of 2023 after 8 years of teaching. Heavenlee’s goal is to reach as many families who otherwise would not have access to a swim instructor due to many systemic setbacks.
- Personalized Approach: Heavenlee is the sole instructor, and passionate mother who believes swimming is not just a fun leisure, but a lifelong skill that can also help save a life. Being Red Cross certified in Water Safety and CPR trained, saftey and fun is very important to her. Heavenlee has served over 50 families and watched the youngest clients’ love for swimming grow into them joining swim teams. She taught many fearful adults to overcome and make swimming a lifestyle. She believes in equality and safety for all so she prides herself in differentiating the teaching and reinforcing best practices that support all clients.
