A Passion for Water Safety

Hello! I’m Coach Heavenlee, the founder and head instructor at DMV Young Swimmers. My journey with swimming began in childhood, and that passion has grown into a mission to teach water safety and swimming skills to people of all ages.

With over a decade of experience teaching swim lessons, I’ve had the privilege of helping hundreds of students — from infants taking their first splash to adults overcoming their fear of water. Every student is unique, and I tailor my approach to meet each individual where they are.

I believe that learning to swim is one of the most important life skills a person can have. It’s not just about fitness or recreation — it’s about safety, confidence, and the freedom to enjoy the water throughout your life.
